Welcome to The University of Nottingham Gilbert & Sullivan Society homepage!
The G&S Society is friendly and inclusive, and we are always open to new people and are looking for new members to come and join in the fun, whether you're interested in working on or off stage.
As well as staging two shows a year (one Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, and one 'Summer Show'), the society hosts frequent social events for its members, details of which can be found on this website. You will also find all sorts of other information about the society - we hope you find everything you need.
Browse our forums to learn about socials and voice your opinion on a variety of topics, serious or silly. If you have any specific questions, please email info@songanddance.co.uk and a member of the committee will get back to you ASAP.

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society welcomes members of any ability. To prove this, there are no auditions for chorus parts. All the music and dancing is taught assuming no prior knowledge in either field! Those wishing to show off a bit more can audition for principal roles in the first few weeks of the autumn term.
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7.30pm and also on Thursdays as the show approaches. See This Year's Show for more information.
